Tiara Roxanne is a scholar and performance artist whose work reimagines the ethics of artificial intelligence through anticolonial, ecofeminist, and cyberfeminist perspectives. Their research investigates how digital technologies are built upon the extraction of resources from Indigenous lands, tracing the colonial histories embedded in technological infrastructures, bodies, and memory.

Through performance, critical theory, and artistic research, they have developed the concepts of digital attunement and the technological haunt to rethink the relationship between technology, ecology, and historical violence.

Their work has been presented internationally at institutions and festivals including Ars Electronica, transmediale, the Images Festival, the European Media Art Festival, Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Art Center, SOAS University of London, Duke University, the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and Trinity Square Video.

Roxanne is currently a Research Fellow at the Disruption Network Institute in Berlin. Their forthcoming book, to be published by the University of California Press in 2027, further develops their research on digital attunement and the technological haunt.
