Grzegorz Rossoliński-Liebe is a historian at Freie Universität Berlin whose research examines the Holocaust, antisemitism, political violence, and transnational fascism in East Central and Eastern Europe. His work explores how societies confront difficult pasts, with a particular focus on the intersections of memory, nationalism, and the legacy of mass violence.

He is the author of the first scholarly biography of the Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera and has published extensively on the Holocaust and local collaboration under German occupation.

Rossoliński-Liebe has held fellowships and research appointments at institutions including the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the German Historical Institute Warsaw, the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, the Gerda Henkel Stiftung, the Alfred Landecker Foundation, and the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah.

He studied at the European University Viadrina, received his PhD from the University of Hamburg, and completed his Habilitation at Freie Universität Berlin, where he continues to teach and research the histories and memories of twentieth-century Europe.
