Sista Ọlọ́ruńtoyin
Sista Oloruntoyin is not only a psychosocial counsellor specialising in Africa-centred knowledge (a member of ABPsi and BMHM) and a Yoruba singing teacher, but also a key figure in the self-organisation of Black activists since the 1990s.
As a co-founder of the Black Community Coalition of Justice & Self-Defence, she actively combats racist injustices through radical actions and powerful campaigns. Her work with ARRiVATi uses artistic performances to foster global solidarity and make empowerment a tangible experience. Both initiatives have succeeded in bringing key issues such as institutional racism and the decolonisation of structures to the forefront of public debate.
