Charlott Eifler

Charlott Eifler is an artist and filmmaker whose practice spans moving image, installation, performance, and digital media. She develops spatial narratives that investigate how visual, technological, and institutional systems determine what can be seen, remembered, and imagined.
Engaging with archives and practices of collecting, her work explores how histories are ordered, preserved, omitted, and reconfigured, creating new relations between bodies, technologies, images, and memory.
Her work has been presented internationally, including at ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts in Los Angeles, Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, IMPAKT Festival Utrecht, the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Rencontres Internationales Paris, and the Sapporo International Art Festival.
Working across artistic research and experimental filmmaking, Eifler develops immersive installations and audiovisual works that challenge established modes of historical representation and examine the shifting relationships between digital technologies, archives, and contemporary memory cultures.
