For the Transgressive Memory Festival, transmediale contributes to the exhibition with two works presented at transmediale studio.
Both respond to the question of how memory mutates and reconstructs itself through digital systems, focusing on the moment when computational infrastructure stops representing history and begins rewriting it. Moving between ideological excavation of techno-libertarian mythology and forensic investigation into computational memory, the projects reflect one of transmediale's core concerns: the logics of visual culture online and how images come to shape, and unshape, the way we perceive and understand our pasts, presents, and futures.
