MRBL is a visual performance artist who relentlessly sheds and reinvents himself—serpentine, ouroboric, always becoming.

His work cycles the grief of being a Chinese migrant, siphoned from the weight of transgenerational political trauma passed down through family. In each new avatar, he weaves light with shadows, crafting meticulous costumes and designing movements that tell an animalistic story. His body is both an archive and an altar.
