The work of Ana María Millán addresses the politics of animation and its technics in general in relation to digital cultures and subcultures, magic, violence, and propaganda. 

Ana María Millán has developed strategies based on role-playing and reenactment as a methodology to create a series of open-ended scripts that result in narrative films and video games. Her work deals with amateur cultures, pop politics, sound territories, nature, and technology, incorporating the possibilities and mistakes of the rehearsals and narrative forms considered dysfunctional.
